Rumors of a Porsche Panamera Shooting Brake model heading to the 2012 Paris Motor Show have been confirmed, as the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept has broke cover ahead of its unveiling.

The concept reveals the future of the Panamera lineup from the German automaker’s point of view, revealing not just a new body style, but that a hybrid variant is clearly being considered.
Styling of the Panamera Sport Turismo Concept is clearly influenced by all of Porsche’s newest generation of models, such as the 991 and 918 Spyder. The sleeker design also gives the Panamera a sportier look and will undoubtedly please even the harshest of Panamera critics. The e-hybrid badge hints at a plug-in hybrid variant while the center-locking wheels borrowed from the GT3 proves that its performance will still live up to the Porsche brand name.
The interior photo also shows a tech-oriented design, featuring what appears to be an all-digital center console – similar to what will be making an appearance on the new Audi R8 e-tron.
Stay tuned as AutoGuide gets more information on the Porsche Panamera Sport Turismo Concept at the 2012 Paris Motor Show.
