Rolls-Royce is paying homage to the 1925 Paris Exposition, which coined the term ‘Art Deco’, at this year’s Paris Motor Show with special edition Ghost and Phantom models.
Taking their two luxurious Ghost and Phantom sedan models along with its Phantom Drophead Coupe, the British automaker gave them the bespoke treatment with exterior and interior accents.
For its flagship Phantom sedan, the interior has received a fresh Arctic White leather treatment with contrasting black accents, while the rest of the interior gets hand-finished stainless steel inlays in the drawers, door cappings, and rear picnic tables.
The smaller of the two sedans, the Ghost, gets an eye-catchy Jubilee Silver and Cobalt Blue two-tone paint job on the exterior, while Rolls-Royce logos are specially embroidered throughout.
As for the convertible, the light blue interior might not be to everyone’s liking, but truly lives up to the art deco style. Mother of Pearl trim gives it a nice contrast, which will be noticeably visible at the show with its top down.
The British automaker is going to allow its customers to build their own custom art deco cars. They will be able to choose from styling details seen in the models at the Paris Motor Show and can even pay a premium for an illuminated Spirit of Ecstasy emblem. No pricing was announced.
