The face-lifted Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 is debuting at the Paris Motor Show this week, as well as two LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica models based on the Spyder Performante and the Superleggera.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4
The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 features a new front end with increased use of triangular and trapezoidal shapes. Larger intakes ahead of the front wheels as well as pieces finished in body-color and black provide a more aggressive look. The geometric shapes carry over to the rear of the Gallardo, which features a larger air outlet that improves heat extraction. An available Style Package includes gloss black paint on the bottom of the front spoiler, front and rear grilles, and rear trim. New matte black 19-inch alloy wheels with machined spokes round out the updates.
Lamborghini estimates a 0-62 mph time of 3.7 seconds and a top speed of about 202 mph for the revised Gallardo, which is powered by a 552-hp 5.2-liter V-10 with 398 lb-ft of torque.
Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Edizione Tecnica
While the LP 570-4 Superleggera and Spyder Performante are the Gallardo’s highest performing coupe and convertible variants, Edizione Tecnica adds a large fixed rear wing and lightweight carbon ceramic brakes. Aesthetics are updated with three unique paint combinations including Nero Nemesis (matte black) body with Arancio Argos (orange) pillars and front air intakes; Bianco Canopus (matte white) body with Arancio Argos pillars and front air intakes; and Arancio Argos body with Nero Nemesis pillars and front air intakes.
