Pricing for the 2013 Infiniti FX has been announced, with the rear-drive FX37 starting at $45,195 and the all-wheel-drive version starting at $46,645. Those prices reflect a $545 increase over the previous 2012 FX35 model.
Helping to justify some of that price increase is the FX37’s new 3.7-liter V-6, which makes 325 hp and 267 lb-ft of torque. Those figures are down slightly from the 3.7-liter unit found in the G37, which produces 328 hp and 269 lb-ft, but represents a bump of 22 hp and 5 lb-ft over the FX’s previous 3.5-liter engine. The Infiniti FX also gains as an option Infiniti’s next-gen Around View Monitor, which now includes Moving Object Detection. Other safety features offered include Distance Control Assist, Lane Departure Warning and Prevention systems, Intelligent Brake Assist, and Forward Collision Warning.
The FX37 Limited Edition trim level starts at $53,645, an increase of $695 over last year’s price. That model comes exclusively in Moonlight White exterior color with a Graphite interior, and offers all-wheel drive, 21-inch graphite-finished alloy wheels, graphite-colored roof rails and crossbars, and dark-tinted headlights as standard. The model also gets navigation and an Around View Monitor as standard.
The range-topping FX50 is now priced at $61,545, a $795 bump over last year’s model. The model is still powered by a 390-hp, 369-lb-ft 5.0-liter V-8, and comes with all-wheel drive and an Around View Monitor as standard.
The 2013 Infiniti FX is on sale now.
*All prices include destination of $895, down from $950 for the 2012 model year.
