For our next Offbeat story, we're m oving a little to the west of Russia to Ukraine and the country's fifth largest city, Odessa, where another crazy accident took place earlier this week.
The dash-cam footage shows three passenger cars waiting for the green light at an intersection when all of a sudden, the driver of a red MPV makes a hasty U-turn – and for a very good reason as you will soon find out.
You see, on the other side of the road, a large lorry carrying several tons of logs appeared to have some sort of mechanical problem – presumably the braking system – and overturned at the intersection freeing its load.
According to Ukrainian media, amazingly, no one was seriously injured in this scary accident.
