BMW revealed its newest three-door M135i back in May, and catching it live at the 2012 Paris Motor Show reminds us how America will miss out on yet another hot hatchback.
Powered by a 3.0-liter, straight-six with M TwinPower Turbo technology, the M135i xDrive packs 320 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque and can also be had in a more practical five-door configuration. The all-wheel drive allows the M135i to accelerate to 62-mph in 4.7 seconds, 0.2 seconds faster than its rear-wheel drive counterpart. The xDrive variant is only available with an eight-speed automatic transmission.
Unfortunately it’s another vehicle we’ll just have to admire from a distance as the German automaker has no plans of bringing it to America.
