Here is a new set of photos of the third installment of Kia's second-generation Cee’d family, the new Pro_cee’d three-door hatchback, which will be one of the Korean brand's highlights at this week's Paris Motor Show .
The new car will go on sale in Europe in early 2013 offered with the same 1.4-liter and 1.6-liter petrol and diesel units that are available in the Cee'd five-door hatchback and Sportswagon (Estate), though there has been talk about a performance version wearing the Hyundai Veloster's 1.6-liter turbocharged engine with up to 200-horsepower.
Kia's designers gave the Pro_Cee'd a more dynamic look than its five-door sibling by lowering the car's height and styling a rakish roofline along with more heavily pronounced rear fenders, and even a slimmer grille opening up front.
“This car embodies emotion and energy through and through,” explains Peter Schreyer, Kia’s Chief Design Officer. “You know from a single glance that this is a car you want to drive, not just own. Kia is on a distinctive design adventure and the all new pro-cee’d spearheads this forward looking journey.”
